Summer term 2015 Update

Over the last term we have been maintaining the school’s wildlife garden. We have been planting lots of different plants and making sure we have got rid of all the weeds! After all of this, we started to redo the path through the garden, which was extremely hard work. We had to weed the entire path and put new woodchips evenly around it. Then we had a volunteer come in, who taught us all about looking after plants and even cut the grass for us too! We entered a competition called ‘Rushmoor in Bloom’. We are now awaiting the results of the judging day to find out how we did in the competition. For this we worked together to create an Alice in Wonderland themed bed and an edible patch; which we will get to eat!
