Drugs Awareness with Guildford Flames!

On Monday 25th March, Guildford Flames ice hockey team worked with year 6

on a drug awareness workshop. Children learnt about which drugs were illegal and the dangers surrounding them as well as which drugs were prescriptive. They learnt all about how to stay safe and how to say no to peer pressure.
The children were then given the chance to learn all about the sport and try on some of the kit. 'Bonus questions' were asked and all children were able to win tickets to go and watch the Guildford Flames final season match as well as winning free passes for games of bowling and ice skating with skate hire at the Guildford Spectrum.  They are all very excited to put these passes to use over next few weeks!
